What is Kit Digital and what is it for?
Kit Digital is a grant programme from the Spanish Government, funded by the EU Next Generation EU funds, that subsidises the digitalisation of small businesses and freelancers. Companies receive a grant of between €2,000 and €6,000 depending on their size to contract technology solutions in areas such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity or digital presence.
Can my Málaga business apply for Kit Digital?
Yes, if you meet: (1) between 0 and 49 employees, (2) registered tax address in Spain, (3) up to date with the Tax Agency and Social Security, (4) not having previously been a beneficiary of the same category. Most SMEs and freelancers in Málaga are eligible.
Which AI solutions does Kit Digital cover?
The 'Artificial Intelligence' segment of Kit Digital covers the implementation of AI tools applied to the business: process automation, AI data analysis, virtual assistants, content generation, recommendation systems and more. AizuaLabs is not an accredited digitalisation agent, but it is the technical team that implements the solution the digitalisation agent certifies.
Do I have to pay anything?
The grant fully covers the cost up to the amount awarded for your segment (€2,000–€6,000). If the total cost exceeds the grant, you pay the difference. In many cases the grant covers 100% of the project.
How long does the application take?
The application is resolved within 4 to 8 weeks once submitted. Implementation begins after the agreement is signed. The full process, from application to deployed solution, usually takes 2–4 months.
